Nautical Twins Shower

I was asked recently to help out with a twins shower for a friend. I came up with a nautical theme and think it turned out pretty cute!

Baby Kinley's Dedication

Sunday was Kinley's baby dedication at Kindi & Danny's church. Kindi had a little get together afterwards and asked me to make some cupcakes. She stuck with the pink/brown/polka dot theme. The cookie suckers were supposed to be cupcake toppers, but when I couldn't get my brown royal icing to look brown instead of an icky tan color, I had to scrap that idea. They were meant to be pink with brown polka dots, but we had to go with Plan B. So, they got sprinkled instead. Everything turned out real cute and was super yummy!

Happy 4th of July!!!

I made these little cards with the kiddos to help celebrate the fourth. On the back they simply say Happy 4th of July! Love, Our Little Firecrackers. I thought they turned out pretty cute! I think when their hands get a little bigger they may look more like flags, like I had intended!!!

Holy Marshmallows, Batman!

We went to meijer today after church and found these enormous marshmallows! I know, the picture doesn't do them justice, but seriously, they are like three marshmallows in one! They are seriously huge and would make one nice, gooey, sticky, yummy s'more mess! Brock is just itching to try them out! Oh- and as a side note, this week Cupcake Pebbles are on sale at meijer! Who LOVES Alfredo???

OK, so seriously, who enjoys eating alfredo sauce when you know you are devouring way too many calories for one sitting??? Not me. When I came across this recipe, I thought, no way could anything with the name "guiltless" in it even taste remotely good, especially when it comes to alfredo. Boy, was I wrong! This stuff was so stinkin' yummy!!! And might I add super easy to make. This will probably be a once a weeker at the Schlittler house. TJ grilled us up some chicken breast, I threw some fettuchini noodles in a pot, followed Our Best Bites alfredo recipe, and BAM! Best meal ever.
