TGIF! Aqua & Orange Twin Boys Circus Theme

Today's Friday Party Feature goes to...
Mae Armstrong and her twin boys,
Ryan & Will's,
Aqua & Orange Circus Theme
1st Birthday Party!

I love this color scheme!
Everything looks so great on the table.

 Homemade caramel popcorn... yum.

 Excellent way to re-use those old baby food jars!
Mae filled them up with jelly beans!

Seriously, what do you think the chances are of having a co-worker, who just happens to play the bagpipes, and then to have them come and play a few songs to honor your twins' half-Scottish heritage?

Did we mention it was Dad's birthday, too!?

Here's a little of what Mae had to say about getting ready for the BIG party...

""After creating the party invitation, everything began to fall into place. I sewed a simple elephant themed fabric pennant and a crochet banner. I repurposed my old baby food jars into these pretty little containers for Jelly Beans. I whipped up some homemade caramel popcorn as another party favor, we added a jar full of animal crackers and goldfish to our dessert table. I made birthday shirts, pj's and bibs for the boys. I also created three giant smash cakes. The party hats were handmade too!"
Mae, everything looked amazing!
Great job and congrats on being today's featured party!!!!

Vintage Barbie Party

 Jillian was invited to a Vintage Barbie Birthday Party this weekend for one of her little church friends.
Everything was absolutely adorable!
Julie did a GREAT job putting everything together!
And the girls had a BLAST, which makes for one very successful party... which is why mom's go all out, right?

 {Here they are... all dolled up in their tutus, made by Julie, and their stinkin' adorable Barbie silhouette shirts.  Julie found those on etsy at Illeana's Bowtique.  LOVE IT!!!!

{This was in the dining room where the girls got to decorate their own cupcakes.}

{Julie made all the goodies, including that Barbie cake!
  And those oreo truffles... ummm... YUM!}

{On top of a cute shirt and tutu, each little girl got their own pair of flip flops.  And you can't be sporting super cute pink flip flops without some super cute painted toenails!  Each girl got a pedicure!}

{Here is the Beauty Bar Julie had set up.  After getting sprayed with some yummy smelling body spray, each girl got their own eye shadow, Barbie chapstick lipstick, tiara, bracelets, necklaces, and of course their very own diamond ring, because diamonds are a girl's best friend after all!}

GREAT JOB, JULIE!!!
Everything was amazing and beautiful and yummy and I could go on and on.
The girls had so much fun getting their makeovers, toenails painted, and prancing around in those adorable tutus and Barbie shirts!  It was such a FUN party!
Thanks for including us!

Julie is just starting her party planning adventure so be sure to check out her new website HERE
or you can even LIKE her on facebook HERE.
Just be sure to tell her Pirates-n-Princesses sent ya!!!  :)

Dora the Explorer & Boots 3rd Birthday Party

 So, are you ready for picture overload???
Vamonos!  (Isn't that what Dora says?)

 Lollipop Sucker Party Favors
I found these in the Dollar Section at Target before Christmas and snatched up all the ones they had in pink and red and left the red and green ones for all the other shoppers.

 How ADORABLE are these cookies?!?!
Lisa from The Cookie Jar made these for me, and let's just say she and her husband are a DREAM to work with, just the BEST!  These cookies are almost too pretty to eat.

How CUTE are these balloons from
Lisa was so great to work with and found me exactly what I was looking for and wanted!

 In honor of Boots the Monkey, I made some Banana Cupcakes with a Caramel Buttercream Frosting.
I got the recipe from Annie's Eats website and you can find the recipe HERE.  I'm pretty sure I added way more bananas than the recipe called for but I wanted to make sure they tasted banana-y.  Then she recommends a caramel swiss meringue buttercream, but I had no luck.  I don't think I whipped it long enough, and so I just made the homemade caramel sauce that she lists in the recipe and then some good old buttercream frosting and added 2 T. of the caramel sauce into the frosting and it was de-lish!
 And here's my sweet, sweet birthday girl, Jillian!

 My new friend, whom I've never met, Janay, of Stitched By Janay, made Jillian's birthday shirt.  It turned out sooooo stinkin' cute!  {Even cuter than I had pictured in my head!  And bless sweet Janay's heart for putting up with me and all my demands suggestions/requests.}  You really need to go check out her blog, she is so talented!!!!
 I found Jillian's matching orange hair bow on etsy over at KysKreation.

 Mama & The Birthday Girl

 And this is the e-vite that I sent out to family and friends.  The BEST thing about e-vites, you can print and mail them OR e-mail them!  LoVe that!

Another party down in the party books... :)
Everything turned out so great and I must say, MUCH less stressed out this time.  I had lots of help from my hubby, mama, and sister.  I had the help of some amazing vendors and now onto the next party!!!
